Theater Magdeburg has premiered a play that deals with the processing of trauma after the Christmas market rampage in Magdeburg.

The title of the play is 'Wunde Stadt'.

The author, Kevin Rittberger, had intensively dealt with the city's residents to process the collective trauma experience on stage.

The play is performed without intermission and casts a glance at people and groups affected by the rampage.

The premiere took place on Saturday.
