The town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz is facing a new situation after the appearance of a second dolphin in the bay.

It is the second cetacean observed in the region in recent months.

The town hall has already put in place a device to protect tourists and dolphins, but it is thinking of strengthening or modifying it.

Local authorities have published a municipal decree and installed information panels on the beaches to inform visitors of the ban on approaching dolphins.

The town hall remains cautious and has no new elements regarding the surveillance of the beaches, whether there is one or two dolphins.
