On the night of Saturday 23 to Sunday 24 May, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, particularly its capital Kiev.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Moscow launched 90 missiles and 600 drones.

Targets were varied, including museums, residences and a ministerial building.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that four people were killed and around 100 injured across the country.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also confirmed that the Russian Armed Forces carried out a massive strike in response to Ukraine's terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure on Russian territory.
