Liguria Governor Giovanni Toti and entrepreneur Aldo Spinelli have been arrested for corruption and other crimes.

Investigations revealed that Spinelli paid funds to Toti's committees, which the judiciary interprets as bribes.

Toti and Spinelli have been placed under house arrest and are being investigated for corruption and related crimes involving funding.
