The humanitarian mission of Help senza confini, led by Professor Francesco Barone, is scheduled for June in Congo, but the Ebola emergency situation on the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda requires caution.

Ebola virus is a very serious disease, with over 130 confirmed deaths and more than 600 suspected cases.

Barone is in contact with friends and humanitarian project references in Congo and will assess the security situation before deciding whether to carry out the mission.

The goal is to continue helping the extremely poor population, delivering food and medicine, and enabling the education of many poor children and girls.
