Piano submerged plays without the artist
In Venice, during the International Art Biennale, an audio work called 'SommersiVo' by Dardust was installed.
This work uses a high-resolution self-reproduction system to reproduce a piano composition.
The instrument activates every 55 minutes and reproduces a piece that recalls the identity of Venice, a city suspended between visible and submerged.
The work was created in collaboration with set designer Paolo Fantin and with the technological support of H-Farm and Cisco.
'SommersiVo' is a work that talks about memories and memory as something that remains from the past like an echo of sound.
Dardust's composition will resonate for six months without him being present.
