Piano submerged plays without the artist

In Venice, during the International Art Biennale, an audio work called 'SommersiVo' by Dardust was installed.

This work uses a high-resolution self-reproduction system to reproduce a piano composition.

The instrument activates every 55 minutes and reproduces a piece that recalls the identity of Venice, a city suspended between visible and submerged.

The work was created in collaboration with set designer Paolo Fantin and with the technological support of H-Farm and Cisco.

'SommersiVo' is a work that talks about memories and memory as something that remains from the past like an echo of sound.

Dardust's composition will resonate for six months without him being present.

The Church of Verona Opens to Women as Pastoral Guides

The diocese of Verona is addressing the crisis of vocations by opening up to women and laymen as pastoral guides for parishes.

Bishop Domenico Pompili has highlighted the importance of women's presence in communities.

Pastoral guides can be nominated among both laymen and laywomen.

According to Monsignor Ezio Falavegna, professor of pastoral theology, it is a matter of recognizing significant roles for women in the government of the Church.

The diocese of Verona has 380 parishes with 600 priests, but a reduction in priests is expected in the future.
