Uber, the US ride-hailing broker, has considered a higher takeover bid for the German food delivery company Delivery Hero, according to a report by the Financial Times.

Uber had already increased its stake in Delivery Hero to 19.5% and is now the company's largest shareholder.

The new bid is expected to value the company at over 11.5 billion euros.

Delivery Hero had previously rejected an offer of 38 euros per share from a major shareholder.

In the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, there were severe attacks by the Russian army.

At least four people were killed and over 100 others were injured in the attacks.

Numerous buildings in all parts of Kyiv were destroyed.
